We are pleased to announce the upcoming webinar with Mr. Anish Teli, Managing Partner and Fund Manager at QED Capital on “Smart Beta Investing- Momentum Factor” on 29th July 2021.
The session starts with an Introduction to factor investing, focus on momentum factor, the steps to build a DIY momentum portfolio and build a simple momentum portfolio during the session. The worksheet will be mailed to the participants before the session. Time permitting QED Capital will also present their paper on momentum in India during this workshop and participants will be taken through the paper and will be emailed a copy of the same after the webinar.
SPEAKER:
Anish has been a successful investor in Indian equity markets for over 15 years. He currently is Managing Partner and Fund Manager at QED Capital which is a quantitative system driven PMS firm. He has worked in senior positions with Private Equity Funds managed by ICICI Venture (AUM over $2 bn) and Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia (MSPEA) (AUM over $2.5 bn) for over 10 years.
In 2011, Anish became an independent investor and focused on listed Indian equity markets. He also conducted research and developed quantitative trading systems and has been using them successfully since 2012. Anish is a rank-holding Chartered Accountant and an MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.

Prior to co-founding Samasthiti Advisors, a personal-finance advisory initiative, Ravi was heading the fund raising and product design verticals at Northern Arc Investments. Before that, he worked at the institutional equities research desk at IIFL Capital and JP Morgan. He has also worked with HSBC in their business intelligence team. Ravi was recognized as one of the “40 under 40” outstanding professionals in the Indian Alternative Investment industry. He has also consulted for the Social Impact Investments team at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). He is one of the educators for the Certified Alternative Investment Manager (AIM) course by AIWMI.
