Inflation is bedeviling investors worldwide as central banks strike back by aggressively raising interest rates after years of practically free money. Leading the charge is the US Federal Reserve, but will its offense succeed in bringing back low inflation and its positive trickle-down effects, or will it miss the soft-landing runway and help steer the global economy into recession? The question is especially relevant to emerging markets, where equities will be challenged and adding leverage to private equity and real estate will cost much more. Cash is king, and it’s relishing the royal treatment. How does this impact asset allocation and more importantly, what does this mean for investors in India and the rest of the world? For answers to these questions and many more, join us for a lively discussion with one of the largest institutional investors in the USA.
